Pre-School Ballet:
These are perfect classes for children aged 3-5 years, and act as a really fun introduction to dancing. We use stories and characters to teach exercises in a relaxed environment, so that students become familiar with the dance studio. Students also learn some basic foundations to prepare them for the later levels.

Pre-Primary, Primary and Grades 1-8:
All of our graded ballet classes follow the RAD examination syllabi. In these classes, students start at the barre, progress onto centre exercises and learn dances. As part of Grades 1-8, they also study Character Dance, a style of European folk dance often seen in ballets.

Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced Foundation, Advanced 1 and Advanced 2:
In these Vocational RAD graded classes, we delve even deeper into technique, and students learn to dance en pointe. They study more challenging exercises and will be pushed to become the best dancers they can possibly be!
These classes run alongside the regular RAD graded classes and cater to those students who want to double up on their dancing. Students usually start their Intermediate Foundation level when they reach Grade 5. We highly recommend these classes for students who are keen to improve at a faster rate, especially (but not limited to) those considering dancing as a career.

With all of our ballet classes, students are not obliged to take the exams should they wish not to. There is the option to do a 'Class Award' instead of an official exam, and students will continue to progress onto the next grade with their peers and enjoy dancing.
If students choose to take exams, each grade also provides UCAS points, which they can use to help with university applications.
